WTPCC will host State Senator Scott Wiener, author of SB 827 who will speak about his proposed legislation and take questions. It’s possible that the WTPCC may discuss and take a position for or against this legislation. If you are a delegate and can’t make it, be sure to ask your alternate to attend.
Senator Wiener’s legislation seeks to allow five- and eight-story buildings in neighborhoods that are traditionally single-family homes and two-unit duplexes, as long as they are within 1/2-mile of a major transit stop, or 1/4-mile of a high-quality transit corridor.
